Katlego Tapala

Katlego Tapala is a freelance copy-editor who has worked with the likes of Pan Macmillan South Africa, Blackbird Books, Jonathan Ball Publishers, and Modjaji Books. Several commercial titles she has worked on have won or been shortlisted for the South African Literary Awards, the University of Johannesburg Debut Prize for South African Writing in English, and the American Book Fest's American Best Books Awards. Katlego served briefly as assistant editor of publishing for the literary non-fiction magazine, The Nasiona. Her own writing appears in the inaugural anthology, 'The Lives of Black Folk', published by Culture Review magazine, and a special edition entitled 'Catharsis,' by African Writer magazine. Katlego is working towards a degree in English Studies and Linguistics.
