Kavitha Mediratta provides institutional oversight of AFRE to achieve its vision, mission and goals and supports the team to build a powerful and effective programme. Prior to joining AFRE, Kavitha was Chief Strategy Advisor at the Atlantic Philanthropies, where she led the foundation’s racial equity programmes, including its work to catalyse national action to end the school to prison pipeline in the United States. In her spare time, Kavitha can be found gardening or experimenting with new recipes from the New York Times cooking blog.
